Features that make sense

Discover how key features of Cutango help you and your team manage any transition successfully

Playbook

In Playbooks you detail all actions, what, when, by whom, dependencies and whatever you want to detail out more. Playbooks give you the flexible and fit-for-purpose tool to deliver your transition. Use predefined templates, upload from Excel or set it up from scratch.

Dependencies

In transitions and transformations, many actions by different people need to be planned, aligned, put in the right order. Tracking the dependencies between these actions, keeping the order, identifying the critical path, is one of the key success factors.

Dry Runs

Going into a go-live without proper testing the plan, happens more often than not. Because it is complicated to proper plan, simulate and keep track of the constant flow of updates that are coming in while the plan is detailed further. Update your plan while testing it and propagate updates to the active playbook.

Forward and backward planning

Any cutover planning doesn’t stop after the go-live. Also, from the go/no go decision the plan needs to provide for at least two scenarios. The decision to go, or not to go, will need different follow-ups, with different dependencies. Calculate times forward and backward taking into account all elements affecting the timeline, before and after go/no-go decisions and after go-live.

Go-Live orchestration

Going into the actual cutover, Cutango steers the execution of the playbook as a well rehearsed process. Providing realtime overview of the progress, informing individual members of the team through notifications in time for them to be ready to play their part.

Multiple devices

A modern web application with a modern application architecture makes it easy to be used on different devices. Individual users can manage notifications to be sent to one or several devices at the same time.

Multiple projects

Even smaller companies often have several projects running in parallel. Assign colleagues with the organization to different projects or even assign colleagues working on different projects at different organizations.

Simple roles

Clear responsibilities translated in clear roles. Roles are kept simple; defined such that responsibilities can be assigned and deputized, but without the complexity that takes away the focus on a smooth cutover and the tasks at hand.

Templates

You don’t need to start with an empty planning. Use templates for different types of transitions in different industries that help every project of to a flying start.
